Lemon Pepper Legs

Chicken legs are economical and fun for kids to eat. Many lemon-pepper salts are on the market, but they contain fillers, anti-caking agents, sulfites, or other preservatives. Making the marinade “from scratch” is really very easy.

In a gallon-size zip bag:

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

1 TB pepper

1 tsp salt

8 chicken legs

Massage chicken in bag. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 6 hours in fridge.

Grill, turning every 4 minutes until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
